This is Matt's fifth year with the Blizzard and fourth as the Business Manager. He has a long sports history that includes playing college basketball and baseball. Matt graduated with a Master's Degree in Sport Management from Minnesota State University- Mankato. Matt's wife Erin is the Assistant Volleyball coach for the Alexandria Cardinals and their 4 children (Trey 8, Jase 5, Reid 3, and Quinn 8 months) are always tagging right behind. The entire Johnson family is heavily involved in many sports around the area and are always willing to help at community events.

Sandy has been associated with the Blizzard since 2010 when she hosted her first player and was introduced to the sport of hockey.  Since that winter, she has been a host “Mom” to 12 different hockey players and 6 different baseball players.  When she is not at a hockey or baseball game she can be found sewing a quilt or pulling weeds in her garden. Sandy is a key resource for the logistics of one of our most important parts of the players year with the Blizzard.
